Ben has left a legacy in making the communities a better place to live. I had the honor and privilege of working with Ben at Genesee County, Flint where he was a Speech Pathologist and I am an Occupational Therapist, we shared office, shared our stories, and I learnt about his passion of community service. His vacation was traveling places to volunteer to build the damaged houses, even when Katrina hit the land. Idea of his Christmas gift was adopting poor family and children. Being an immigrant myself, he was a great inspiration to me, a great motivator, and always willing to go that extra mile to help anyone in need. I have never met a person like Ben with his dedication, service, and value for humanity. His great stories and memories will be always cherished.

My sincere sympathy to Ben's family! Ben was one of the kindest men I've ever known! I knew him from his days at Genesee County CMH and he would always greet and treat me as a friend and not just a co-worker. The word of his passing saddened me greatly! I will do my act of kindness this week in his memory. With fond regards to his family. He will be missed by more people than you will ever know <3

Ben,

When I grow up I want to be just like you. I so admire how you (and Karen too) were not content to sit on the sidelines complaining about the world's troubles, but jumped in to make the world a better place. And the world is better because you were in it. So from all of us who miss you, thanks!

Karen
