Gwen, I'm so sad to hear that your Dad has passed away. He was always just the nicest person. He was a good friend to my Dad, and you guys were great neighbors. I'm sorry that I couldn't be at the calling hours or funeral. We are out of town. You and your family are in my thoughts. I will miss him.

Fond memories visiting our family friends in Shadey Acres...a long time ago. My folks were lifelong friends of "Furb" and Margaret. David and I spent countless hours playing "in the woods". It was always a thrill to see the race car parked in the garage; and then get to sit in the seat! Unfortunately, as so often happens, though, we grow up and go our separate ways and lose track. And it is only at times like this that we come together. My heartfelt sympathy to David's family and friends.
