I served with Brian on board the USS Guam. It was many years ago but when we were stationed in Norfolk Virginia we drove down to my home town of Greensboro NC. We had a ton of fun and he was a true stand up guy. I still remember his laugh!! kind of a huckel berry hound kind of laugh :). Although life was cut a little short for him; by reading the other post it sounds like he had some really good years doing the things he liked to do.

I knew Bob for about 10 years from the Bass River Marina. He took care of my boat and me. He was one of the nicest and most caring people you could meet, he will be missed. Big loss to the boating community of Dennis, his family and friends. RIP Bob

The first time that I met Bob, was when I started boating at Bass River Marina, Cape Cod Mass. 2013. Bob welcomed me and said welcome to the family, and for the next 5 boating seasons to follow. That is exactly how Bob treated me and everyone at the marina...as family. An extremely personal and compassionate person, always willing to help. Bob had this special passion for his co-workers, friends and everyone at Bass River Marina. His passion for music came through whenever one had the fortunate opportunity see him with his band, the Ryder's. Bob's drum rolls were astounding and like everything he did. One could see the love he had for whatever he did. I'm going to greatly miss you Bob. Love ya man....
