Robert Earl (Bob) Ingram

Muncie - Robert Earl (Bob) Ingram passed away unexpectedly on Thursday February 18, 2021 at Community Hospital North of Indianapolis, IN. He was one of eleven children born to Glen A. and Lillie Mae Ingram.

He married the love of his life, Carla Sue in 1968, to this union two amazing daughters were born.

Robert served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam where he received the Purple Heart Award.

He was a very hard worker who took pride in all he did. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2001.

Robert enjoyed social life with family and friends. He was a faithful member of the American Legion, VFW, and Amvets.

Preceding in death were both his parents, four brothers, two infant sisters, and one son-in-law, Timothy A. Woods.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carla, daughters; Jackie Woods, and Jennifer (Tony) Quinn, five grandchildren; Kalynn, Austin, Stacia, Josh and Tre'. Eight great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

The family will choose a later date for celebration of life.

I will sure miss him. I enjoyed the time we spent together out at the Selma Legion. Carla if you need anything please call me and I will sure come running. My heart breaks for you.

Remember going to his house with Steve Ingram serveral times and playing asteroids and the time steve got his jeep stuck at the res also when he had his bad wreck and was in the hospital God was diffenly by his side that day

So sorry to learn of Bob's passing. Our lives were made richer for having met him and Carla. We extend our deepest sympathies to Carla and the entire family.

Bob was a great guy. His wife Carla and My husband who has past in 2016 (Duane Miller) and I along with others liked to play shuffleboard on Saturday at the Muncie Eagles. My thoughts and prayers to the family.
