Richard L. Cook Sr.
- - Richard L. Cook Sr. passed away peacefully in his home Wednesday, December 6th. He had battled many health issues over the last several years.
Richard was born August 10, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Clifton & Mary Cook (Masters). Richard was one of 8 children.
Richard enjoyed antique cars and tinkered with them as often as possible. He spent years working to process tires for recycling. He designed and built machinery for the recycle process. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his brothers Ronnie and Bill. His children Tonya Rainey (Husband David), Nicholas Cook, Autumn Cook, Samuel Cook (Brook Burdette), Richard L. Cook Jr. (Christine Rogers), Maxwell Cook, Zachary Rogers (Wife Audrey Rogers), Tyler Rogers (Wife Jessica Rogers), 20 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Richard was proceeded in death by his parents Clifton and Mary. Brothers Tom, Bruce, and Jim. Sisters Sandy Backus, Brenda Barone, and granddaughter Paityn Shea Rogers.
Private services will be held for family. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The Muncie Mission or The American Cancer Society.
