Vickie Sue Willmann
Hartford City - Vickie Sue Willmann, 73, passed away at 5:04 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at her residence.
She was born on April 24, 1947 in Hartford City to Eileen June (Reasoner) Long-Friend and William Long Jr.
Vickie graduated from Hartford City High School in 1965. She married William "Bill" L. Willmann on October 8, 1965 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hartford City.
Vickie worked for over 37 years in banking and she retired in 2010 from Pacesetter Bank in Hartford City. She was friendly, outgoing and her smile was contagious. She loved to crochet and has made lots of blankets over the years. In her younger years she and Bill bowled.
Vickie will be sadly missed by her husband, William "Bill" L. Willmann of Hartford City; sons, Todd A. (wife, Julie D.) Willmann of Canonsburg, PA and Paul L. (wife, Penny L.) Willmann of Selma; grandchildren, Abby Willmann, Hannah Willmann, Luke Willmann, Kelly (husband, Tony) Haley and Jerrod (wife, Amanda) Harlan; great-grandchildren, Presley Haley, Parker Haley, Aria Harlan and Maximilian Harlan; brother, Tracy L. Long of West Palm Beach, FL; sister, Tammy S. (husband, Darren) Byrne of Wautoma, WI; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, her mother and step-father, William J. Friend.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2021 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 North High St., Hartford City. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Muncie. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2021 and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2021 at Keplinger Funeral Home.
