Today marks James' sixth year of no longer with us. I got the call at 3:10 p.m. went to ER and went into his area. He was deceased. I kissed him on the forehead and told him I would take care of him with a first class funeral. The medical staff said I could not see my son but they did not know I did. James was born on 20 January 1975.
It is hard not to see him and hear his voice in person.
I miss my son and my heart still hurts. I visit his mother's grave and talk with her about
James. James was her favorite. She has been gone 11 years as of 1 November. I miss both of them very much.

James, 27 November 2023 will mark the sixth year that you left us. I look for you to come home, everyday. I miss hearing your voice and laugh. I did not see you the day you passed away. But, I will always remember that you and I had talked and made peace with one and other the night before you died. Never did I know it would be our last face to face conversation.
Son, your sister and I miss and loved you more than anything. Our pain of your loss will never go away. I only have our memories till I hug you again.
Love you James.
Dad.
