Janet (Bruneau) Morin-Goulet, 77, passed away suddenly on December 26, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in Exeter, NH she was the daughter of the late Hector Bruneau and Rita (Plante) Gallagher. Her late stepfather, Thomas Gallagher raised her from the age of 5 alongside her mother, Rita.
Janet lived most of her life in Attleboro, where she raised her family. Her children, were the light of her life, she put them first, even before herself. Her love showed through her smile and laughter as well as her cooking. Before Covid-19, she would have the whole family over on Sundays for family dinner and to catch up on their lives over the week.
She graduated from Attleboro High School and Wilfred Beauty Academy. She worked hard all her life. She became a hairdresser with Claire's House of Beauty until 1981. She then worked at Texas Instruments until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Michele Morin (her husband, Donn Hamilton) of Cumberland, RI; her son Peter J. Morin (his companion, Kim Monteiro) of Attleboro; her grandchildren, Nicholas Morin, Mallory Hamilton and Ryan Hamilton; her longtime companion, Donald P. Amaral of Attleboro; her siblings, Lynne Gallagher of Attleboro, Robert Gallagher ( his wife Julie) and Wayne Gallagher (his wife, Denise) of Hinsdale, NH; Several nieces and nephews as well as many other family and friends.
She is predeceased by her son, Scott Morin and her brother, James P. Gallagher.
Private funeral services will be held by the family.
