WOLL, Jennie C. (Wowczuk), passed away peacefully on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 101 years of age.
Born in Providence, RI on October 19, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Bazyli and Mary (Pawlowski) Wowczuk, and the beloved wife of the late Frederick O. Woll for 58 years.
Jennie was employed by the City of Attleboro for many years, retiring at the age of 62. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church for over 70 years. Jennie spent 30 years as a member of the Attleboro YMCA. Other memberships included: the Attleboro Historical Preservation Society, the North Purchase Club, the Larson Senior Center, Royal Travelers Club and the St. John's Ladies Guild.
Jennie loved swimming, cooking, reading, traveling and being with her family and friends. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
Jennie is survived by a son, Dr. Frederick E. Woll of Attleboro, a daughter, Marie L. Neveu and her husband Mark of Riverside, RI, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Aniela Tucker Masterson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, February, 25, 2021 in St. John's the Evangelist Church, Attleboro. The family will be receiving at the church beginning at 10:30 AM. Burial immediately following at St. John's Cemetery, Attleboro.
For the safety of those who wish to pay their respects, please do so in accordance with CDC, Federal and State guidelines including social distancing and the use of face masks.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friends of the Attleboro Public Library (APLFriends.org) or 74 North Main St., Attleboro, MA 02703, or to St. John the Evangelist Church/St. Vincent de Paul Ministry, 1 St. John's Place, Attleboro.
