Philippe G. Proulx
Philippe G. Proulx, 86, of Norton, MA, formerly of Rehoboth, MA, passed away surrounded by the love of his family at his residence on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. He was the husband of Sandra (Fobert) Proulx to whom he was married on July 17, 1954.
Born in Attleboro, MA on September 13, 1934, he was a son of the late Philippe L. Proulx and the late Dorothy L. (Dunn) Proulx. He resided in Norton, MA for the past four years, having previously resided in Attleboro, MA and Rehoboth, MA. He was a graduate of Attleboro High School.
He was employed as a toolmaker for Texas Instruments in Attleboro for 39 years prior to his retirement.
Philippe loved photography, spending time creating lifelong memories to cherish, a bowl of ice cream, enjoying a good meal, reading about history, and enjoying sports.
He was the father of Catherine A. Catudal of Norton, MA; Virginia L. Hodges of North Attleboro, MA; Jeanmarie Samuelian of Attleboro, MA; Michelle A. Proulx of Bristol, Rhode Island; and Stephen M. Proulx of Rehoboth, MA. Philipp is survived by nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; his siblings: Jean Blanchard of Attleboro, MA; Dianne Sumate of CT; and the late Sandra Amaral, Marilyn Piette, and Loraine Pelletier. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Visitation has been respectfully omitted.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
