Bobby L. Farrish was born September 21, 1957 to the late Matte Lou Stokes and James Earl Farrish. He departed this life to eternal rest on February 5, 2020.

He also attended Dillard High School and later graduated and received his GED. Soon after he joined Spirit Filled Holiness Church at an early age. Then he moved his membership to Glenns Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served faithfully. His favorite team was Carolina and his favorite color was blue. Bobby enjoyed spending time with his family, children and grandchildren . Later on in life, he worked for Cone Mills, Copland Fabrics and Nova Flex for over ten years.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Alice Lawson Farrish, children: Gary Love (Shantal), Ashley Farrish, Bobby Farrish Jr., Devante Lawson (Katie), Dante Harris, Alicia Farrish and Alexis Farrish; two sisters: Audrey Stokes and Brenda Alston (Kelvin), nine grandchildren, two sisters in law: Sharon and Renee Lawson; four brothers in law: : Foyster, Eric, Chris and Terry Lawson; mother in law: Annie Lawson, step father: Jimmy Nixon; special friends: Donald Richmond and Willie Pinnix and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Hattie Boswell, Vivian Farrish and Carlos Farrish.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 13th at 2pm in the Roy Blackwell Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1-2pm. Public viewing will be held from 1-8pm in the Mary Blackwell Chapel on Chapel on Wednesday, February 12th. The family will receive visitors from 6-8pm on Wednesday. Burial will be held in the Glenns Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Condolences may be posted to Services entrusted to Blackwell Funeral Home.
