Beatrice "Bea" Thompson Boswell
Funeral services for Beatrice "Bea" Thompson Boswell will be held at 10 am on Friday October 5, 2012 in the chapel of John Kramer and Son with Rev. David Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Woodworth, under the direction of John Kramer & Son.
Beatrice "Bea" Thompson Boswell, 90, of Alexandria, passed away Monday October 1, 2012 at CHRISTUS St, Francis Cabrini Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her husband Henry C. Boswell; her parents, Rawlins Muriel Thompson and Lucy Smith Thompson; three brothers, Osborn Thompson, Dewey Thompson, Clifton Thompson; five sisters, Gladys Thompson, Myrtis Albright, Lucy Adele "Dale" Bates Hayes, Lula Holland, and Mabel Johnson.
Bea was a life-long member of Parkview Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She retired from J.C. Pennys, and was an avid gardener. She loved to laugh and have great fun with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son Robert "Bob" Boswell; one brother Rawleigh Mike Thompson, one grandson Scott Boswell; three great grandchildren Tony Boswell, Joy Boswell, Misty Boswell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 8 pm Thursday October 4, 2012 and 8:30 am until time of service Friday.
