Freta Geanette Lott Kinsey passed away surrounded by family and friends on January 11th, 2018. The world lost a bit of joy but Heaven gained an Angel. She was born on May 26th, 1960 and went on to be with the Lord at the age of 57. Freta had a smile that would light up any room, she was full of life, and lived her life to the fullest. She never met a stranger, but instead met not just friends but forever friends, and influenced many people's lives with her contagious and uplifting energy. She was the most genuine person and she will be greatly missed by all those that knew her.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Robert Hence Spooner, Vivian Lee Spooner, and her brother Richard Neal Spooner. She is survived by her Husband Bradford Wayne Kinsey, two children: Jason and Amber Lott (Garrett Reeves); two grandchildren: Jaydon Lott and Carson Lott; two step children; which she raised as her own: Colby and Brittany Kinsey, along with a multitude of forever friends, beloved nieces and nephews, and many people who adored her.
Freta worked for the State of Florida for over 35 years and was a computer programmer for the past ten years. She cherished life each day and loved her family most, as well as friends, and her beloved Biloxi, Mississippi. In keeping with the abundance of joy she was always over flowing with; it was very important for Freta to emphasize to family and friends to celebrate her life.
The celebration of Freta's life will be held on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018 at 2:00 pm at 7000 Natural Bridge Road, Tallahassee, FL 32305. Her favorite color was purple, and the family asks for anyone who wants to wear purple to her memorial please do so, but most importantly Freta would want you to be comfortable and as you are.
