I met Connie when I was working in Health and Safety in the Ministry of Transportation and Highways. She subbed for me while I was off having surgery, then went on to finish her career in a job she really enjoyed. I'm so pleased to have known her.

I am so sorry to hear about Connie's passing. She was an incredible person, so true and genuine...and straight forward: said it like it was! I got to know Connie through our mutual friend, Phyllis--and also laughed about all the funny things they used to do! She will be greatly missed. Farewell to a wonderful and dear person. You will live on in our hearts, Connie!

Connie was a wonderful friend and had a great sense of humour. She loved animals, the outdoors and travel. I was in absolute awe of her, when she went on a twenty five day cruise by herself (with advanced parkinsons!)That took courage. It's a shame this disease blighted her retirement yet Connie was never one to whine or feel sorry for herself. I shall miss her.

I am very sorry to read of Connie's passing. I knew her when I was a child, and my parents were close friends of her parent Mat and Rita Lamont. I remember her as being a very outgoing sort of person.

I offer my condolences to her family members.

Connie's love of the out-doors, hiking, swimming, traveling is a part of her that will live on in my thoughts forever. Rest in peace my dear friend. My deepest condolences to her family during this difficult time.

I have never known anyone else like her. She was always so kind to me and ready for a laugh or a story. My memories of Connie are numerous because she was my Mother's oldest friend. My son's God mother as well. The stories of Connie and Phyllis s youth are legendary. We have screamed with laughter at all the shenanigans they all got up to. Nothing was more fun than sitting around with some chocolate cake at my Mom's dinner table with Connie. I have the most treasured memories of Connie and will always remember her at her happiest. Either traveling to the deepest darkest jungles, skiing or hiking or just hanging out with my cousins Michele and Susie hearing all the work related funny stories. She made friends wherever she went and with all walks of life. If you were kind and respectful of others and liked to have fun, you were Connie's kind of people. I will never forget you and will always love you
