McISAAC, John John passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit of Saanich Peninsula Hospital on January 5, 2018 at the age of 84. John predeceased his wife Ann Doyle McIsaac who passed away suddenly on January 10, 1994. He is survived by his daughter Jacqueline (Ian); his sons James (Monica), Stephen (Vickie), and Michael (Monika); his grandchildren Serina, Dylan, Shannon, Mateo, Anna, William, Alexandra, and Lukasz; his brother Jimmy McIsaac; sister-in-law Margaret Murphy (Mike), brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, buddies and his special friend Ann Corrigan whom he lovingly called 'Maggie'. John will be remembered for his cheeky sense of humour (sometimes off-side), sensibility, thriftiness and love and devotion to his family and friends. He had a passion for golf and keep busy around his house in his garden (rose bushes) and tinkering with mechanical/ electrical projects. A burial service was held at Capilano Cemetery in West Vancouver on January 12, 2018. The family will have a celebration of John's life on March 17, 2018 in Sidney, BC.
