Kaye was one of those women who did it all: family, career, volksporting and travel come to mind. She was an excellent cook and presented beautiful meals. Kaye and her husband Murray were both warm, fun and intelligent people. It was a privilege to have had them in our lives. Our deepest sympathy to Ian and Susan. Kaye and Murray will always be remembered with love. LJ & Dickie

It was my pleasure to work closely with Kaye for ten or more years. She became a very close friend and correspondent on so many different topics. She was a model of organization for the CVF and always had good advice to share. I shall miss her and her cheery smile. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, a love leaves a memory no one can steal.
Than you for so many great memories Kaye.

As I sit in "my" office at Camosun College, which used to be Kaye's office, too, I remember her with love, appreciation, and respect.

Kaye was Chair of the Office Careers Department when I first began work with Camosun College (25+ years ago!) and she was welcoming, interested, supportive of me always. She was also dedicated and passionate about offering the best programme possible for Office Careers students, including a very in-demand Co-op Education option for the Office Admin. students, and practicum opportunities for the Medical office and Legal Office Assistant students.

Kaye and the other faculty and staff at the time lay a strong foundation upon which the ABT programmes continue on to this day.

Kaye had high standards for herself and her students, and I'll always remember taking a Word course with her and hearing her say, "Make sure you proofread carefully and that your document looks "attractively formatted."

Kaye was the queen of grammar and punctuation, too, and she was always happy to offer an explanation as to why there did or did NOT need to be an "s" at the end of a word, or a semi-colon used rather than a comma.

Susan and Ian and all of Kaye's family and friends - my condolences. Kaye will be missed, and her legacy will continue on in the lives and memories of the many people she taught, worked with, and knew over the years. I'm glad I knew her, too.

I have fond memories of Kaye when I attended Camosun College (Carey Rd Campus) in 1988, fresh out of high school. She was a very warm and kind lady and I have often thought of her over the years. My condolences to her family.

Farewell to a fine woman.

It's hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember.

Dear Susan and Ian. Your mother was my friend and bridge partner for many years. I will miss her so much. She was a thoughtful caring person and a devoted Mom. May the comfort of family and friends help you through this difficult time.

We are very sorry to hear of your loss, Ian and Susan. I have fond memories of walking with her or speaking on telephone..
