I have many good memories of "Mrs. B", Kathy Burgess. I lived in her house many years ago in 1974 as I was good friends with her son Dave and then Rick and the other kids. She was always patient, funny and kind and made the best traditional Sunday dinners ever (although she tried to teach me I could never make a pie crust like her)! Kathy's house in Brentwood was the hub for all of us kids, and she was a gem of a woman to put up with us really. She made us feel like her house was our home away from home. When others were less than understanding, she always was - very easy to talk to and compassionate. I also remember her cat Opey (lovingly referred to as Ratso by us youngins, lol); she was the only one who really loved him and she was the only one he liked back! She was a grand lady and will be sorely missed. My heart felt condolences to the family; Dave Rick, Rod, Judy and Jill and their families.

I think of Kathy and our days at Robinson's Camera very often! Kathy was an amazing woman, outstanding both in business, and as a friend. No one I've ever worked for comes even remotely close to Kathy's integrity, responsibility, competence, and sheer pleasure to work for.

I spoke with her by phone just two months ago, and she was as sharp as a tack, and we had a wonderful conversation! She will be dearly missed.

My heartfelt condolences.

We were saddened to learn of Kathy's passing. She was a great friend and next door to our mum Pat when they both lived on Fairfield Rd. I always enjoyed chatting with Kathy and loved to hear her stories, of which there were many!
Sincere sympathy and condolences to the family at this sad time. She will never be forgotten, I am sure. Lovely woman.

Rick, Sherry, Katie, Georgia and Molly. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother, mother-in-law and grandmother; the matriarch of your families. Condolences to all.

Darling Kath, Norah and we will miss you always. Your indefatigable positive attitude are and were an inspiration. We always felt included in the family, and the Burgess clan fun over the years. You are one of a kind, and my Mum Norah is another of these amazing Brits. Bless you all,

You were my "other Mother", Kathy, and I shall always be grateful to you for showing me what love of family, patience and understanding are. I will miss our conversations and your humour. We will meet again. I love you, Debora
