I am very sorry to learn of your loss of Maureen. I met her just once in 1989 but she has stayed in my thoughts. She and Vincent were great friends of my late partner Glyn, who lived in North Wales, and I still have a lovely apron that she made me and also a hand knitted jumper for our son Matthew.

I am sending my thoughts to all her family, especially Pam, who I met in 1989.

I am so saddened to hear of Maureen's passing. I was the secretary at the Monterey Centre for those many years that she volunteered as a receptionist. What wonderful times we had together with many laughs and many hugs! Maureen was a warm and caring soul and I loved her dearly. My very deep condolences to the family.

Mum, I will miss you forever.

So sorry to hear your sad news, but many happy memories remain; the carol parties, the house, the lake and most of all, our mums' long and very special friendship.
Thinking of you all, Diana Whyte (Travers-Smith)

Pam, Elizabeth, David and family,

I am so sorry for the loss of your parents. My memories of times we spent together were happy times. Aunt Maureen was always in touch with her with her feelings and so delighted with nature.
Vincent helped us out so much and was always happy for a cup of tea and a small piece of cake
All the best to the family,

Jenny, Ian & James Maxwell, Hannah, Ernest, Harley Chesher

How I loved Aunt Maureen's zest for life, in her positive outlook on life, in her beautiful crewel work and sewing, and in her creative flair for love. I used to babysit David, Elizabeth and Pam out at the lake in the barn in the children's early years. Maureen taught me to dive at the lake. She was such a gorgeous swimmer, so graceful. All love and hugs to Pam, Libby and David for the double loss of both parents at nearly the same time. Diana Holmes (cousin)

To my Aunt Maureen, with wonderful memories of endless cups of tea when at the lake or at home by the fire. Or in the homey kitchen, talking about crafts, sewing, crewel work or other such hobbies. Always a bright smile for me and my family as they grew. With much love, Sue (Holmes) McDonald
