So sad to hear about Milt's passing. I worked with him as a summer S.T.E.P. student in the summer of 1989 in what I believe was his first survey on Saskatoon Mountain near Grande Prairie Alberta for evidence of early North Americans. He was great to work for and I enjoyed learning more about Archaeology from him out in the field. A very nice guy.

I am so saddened by Milt's passing. My thoughts are with his family. I only just found out...I worked with Milt for many years. I always respected his candour, honesty, passion and sense of humour. He was a good colleague and friend. He really cared about people and was a true listener.

I only met Milt in June of 2016 after the passing of my Father, he helped sort out a ridiculous amount of MG car parts that I had no idea where to begin with! I was so appreciative of his time and care! He also organized a car run in my Dad's memory a year later which meant so much to myself and my family. We are truly sorry for your loss.

Milt was a great neighbour and a great man. We are all shocked to hear of his passing. So sorry to Jean and the girls and the rest of his friends and family. Nicest guy in the cul-de-sac by far!

My first knowledge of Milt's existence was when a woman phoned the Simon Fraser Museum Of Archaeology and Anthropology and said,". I'm looking for Mr. Right." I replied, "Aren't we all?" Of course she meant Mr. Wright but he was certainly the former name for Jean and, really, for all who knew him. It isn't original but ....Don't cry because it's over; be happy because it was.

Milt is sorely missed and will forever be remembered by all of us who knew him and had the honour in working with such a fine man who had such genuine passion in the work he did with the Métis Nation British Columbia.
