My condolences to his family. Rick was my neighbour. He was always willing to help out whenever I had needed.
If I couldn't figure something out I would just ask Rick he would have a solution. His kindness is what I will always remember about Him and his smile.

Erika & Family,
I was heartbroken to hear of Rick's passing and send my sincerely condolences. The obituary describes Rick to a tee and I was fortunate to see reluctant Jesus in action many times over the years.

Rick was a true friend whose authenticity was second only to his commitment and passion for this family, co-workers and friends.
I will be forever grateful for the time I was afforded to spend with him and am a better person as a result.

I'm beyond honored to have called him a friend.

Shelly & Erika and extended family, our deepest condolences are sent to you at this most difficult time.

Erika & Family,
So sorry to hear of your difficult loss. There are no words to bring you comfort. No time on Earth is ever enough to spend with someone we love so dearly; may happy memories give you comfort and sustain you at this sad time. God Bless...

To Shelley and Erica and Ricks family

I wish I could think of the proper words to express how truly and sincerely sad I felt when I heard of Rick's passing this past Monday. I also wish that there could be some way that I could help ease the pain and sorrow that you must all be feeling but sadly I know that no words can ease your pain at this time.
I am proud to say that I worked alongside with Rick at the ITO and shall never forget the day that I met this great big, larger than life of a man. There is no doubt about it, the Lord broke the mold when he brought Rick into the world and in more ways than I can say he did.
There is no question, Rick was a one of a kind man and the kind of a man who would always find a way to get things done no matter how daunting the task at hand was.
I shall never forget our Monday morning exec meetings where Rick would always find a way to wrap up our meetings by making us all laugh and bringing a smile to our faces with one of his very animated and oh so very descriptive saying's that would have us all laughing.
I feel very fortunate to have met Rick, worked alongside with him and to call him my friend.
Unfortunately, after surviving four strokes, I am unable to express myself with the words that would fitting of paying tribute to the Gem of a man that Rick truly was. I sincerely hope that you will find peace and strength in coming days as you pause to remember all the wonderful times you had with Rick.

To Erika, your mother and family, My sincerest condolences on the loss of Rick. He was truly a person bigger than life in stature and personality. His energy was boundless and his heart huge. Your description in his obituary was the Rick we all knew.
