We will always have such fond memories of both Ruth and Ted. They were an important part of our lives particularly our childhoods. Both were such good role models and treated our entire family as if we were their own.
Our Dad was so fortunate to have lived just down the street from them in his troubled childhood and they gave him comfort and stability throughout his life.
There are so many fond memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We're grateful to have had them and all of you in our lives.
With much love, our condolences, Suzanne, Jason & Mathew.

I was very saddened to read of Ruth's passing. As a horse-crazed girl, I attended the R Bar T Ranch back in the 1960's for three summers in a row and had a wonderful time each year.
I have fond memories at the R Bar T of sitting around campfires, walking miles to the swimming hole, eating meals around the large kitchen table, as well as buying candy from Ruth's store spread out on the same kitchen table. I learned excellent basics of horsemanship and grooming there which I still carry on to this day. As an adult, I realize the amount of work and responsibility it took Ruth & Ted to run such an operation, but am glad they took the challenge and allowed me to be part of their ranch family, if only for a few weeks each summer.
My thoughts are with Ruth's family at this difficult time.
