She was a wonderful caring and supportive family member, had a great sense of humor, and always a class act through & through! Auntie Phyllis has left a positive impact on my life and I will always cherish her memory for the rest of my life. Thank you Auntie Phyllis!

Dear Constance and Catherine,
I am so sorry to learn today of the loss of your beloved Aunt. I have known Phyllis since 2002. She was my former neighbor and friend. Over the years she spoke with love about you both, of her many nieces, nephews and family as far away as Ireland.
It has been many months since we last spoke by phone. I woke today looking forward to wishing her a happy 89th and was so sad to learn of her passing.
To our family she will always be Auntie Phyllis. She was one of the very first to hold my daughter when she was born and she remembered her every birthday, Christmas and Easter.
She touched many lives doing innumerable thoughtful things for others. I remember when she would tirelessly run the annual book sale at the museum...
Some of my favorite memories are observing her affectionate exchange with Alfie whenever I visited and laughing over her tales of adventures with Alfie up in Russian River, watching the sheer joy on her face as she relived her momentous Ireland trip and the warmth and hospitality her newfound Irish family had shown to her, enjoying her keen and amusing recollections working at Mare Island as a spirited young woman.
In my heart she holds a permanent place as an unforgettable, witty and generous friend.
