Fredericka Melinda "Ricka" Feely
Shadyside - Fredericka Melinda "Ricka" Feely of Shadyside, on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, age 76. Beloved mother of the late Alexander Feely; daughter of the late Harry M. Jr. and Fredericka Feely; sister of Harry M. Feely, III (wife Judith Lynne Parkhill); aunt of Harry McAllister Feely IV and Jed Allison Feely; great-aunt of Seth Allister Trautman; dear friend of Kit Nimick and Sarah Stengle. After graduation from Beaver (PA) High School in 1961, Ricka attended Endicott College (CT) and later the University of Pittsburgh. Ricka was very involved in Andrew's Leap, a summer enrichment program run by the Carnegie Mellon School of Computer Science. She was a member of Seeders and Weeders Garden Club, enjoyed writing poetry and was a great bibliophile. She had varied interests and was involved in many different on-line groups. Ricka had a way of taking care of people. For many years she was a household assistant to the Donnelly family. She was also a cook and assistant to the priests at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church. Services private.
