I don't quite know what to say, actually. Coming back to this months later doesn't make it any easier. I miss you terribly, Coach, and I would give anything to get you back. You taught me how to dribble between my legs properly. You taught me how to shoot three pointers. You were there when I shot my first.
You touched all of your players lives, whether it was football, basketball, track, cross country, volleyball, etc. Or even if you were in the classroom teaching us, you taught every single one of us something.
Coach, you will be missed, that's all I can say now. I'm sending dozens and dozens of love and prayers to your family, hoping that they're happy and in a good place.

Dearest Cliff and Diana,
I only learned this week about Brandon while visiting with a colleague at Archer City. I cannot begin to express to you my deepest sympathy. I am so proud that you had a son who loved you, his family, and his life. That is a priceless treasure. You are two amazing people for whom I have the deepest respect. I remember Brandon from the track meets and so many events when he was a child. Sorry to have lost touch after we moved away but just know memories are lasting, and I offer you my prayers and my thoughts. Greta

I have come to this page a thousand times, never really knowing what to say. Your passing was so difficult for me. As the weeks that followed, walking down the hallways or in the gym became difficult for me. Hearing glimpses of voices that would sound like yours, or memories of me sitting in the same wheelie chair after school for high school basketball practice and you would ask the same question, "How are you?" I would give anything to have you back, to hear you say that. Thank You for teaching me on and off the court morals, in which i will carry with me forever. I pray for your family, you will forever be missed.
