Sister Lura Berniece Lile Durham was originally from Wichita Falls, TX she had passed away Jan 13, 2018 in Minnesota. My precious loving sister whose life was not easy. First losing in death her first born little girl and then her beloved husband Wallace Durham. Leaving early in life 2 little boys to raise. Next losing in death her second male child Michael. Then all she wanted in life was to be with her one and only son Ricky which he did move her to be with him later in life to Minnesota.
She was very talented. She played the piano by ear and could also read notes, playing songs by memory. She tried to teach me, but I never got as good as her and she could play beautifully. Also, she was very talented at poems. Mostly they were about her family, and were very good and numerous times I asked her to write the poems down, they should have been published in a book.
She was a beautifully all woman female, whose beauty was through and through, to her very soul. I miss her and love her she will be sorely missed.

I am so sorry, Rickie. I will miss my sweet Aunt Lura and cherish wonderful memories of her, especially from the days she lived with us in Indiana: her beautiful smile, her contagious laugh, her deliciously garlic-saturated spaghetti sauce, the way she could iron a shirt so that it practically stood on its own, and her warm, warm hugs, so freely given. Then later how happy it made her when her Shih-Tzu Shangri-la started sounding out "i love you," ... But mostly I'll remember the way she herself loved, so deeply and unconditionally. She will be profoundly missed, Sweetheart.
