Sharon Thomas Elliott
Seymour - Sharon Thomas Elliott, age 79, passed away March 6, 2018 in Seymour. Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Russell Roberts, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Bomarton Cemetery.
Sharon was born February 28, 1939 to Alfred and Ruby Sweeden Thomas. She married Eddie Charles Elliott on October 20, 1957 in Bomarton, Texas. She worked for more than 30 years as the Business Administrator for the Seymour Independent School District. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Retired Teachers Assocation.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie Elliott of Seymour, Texas; one daughter, Keila Wynne and husband, Richard of Seymour; three sons, Ricky Elliott and wife, Jenni of Iowa Park, Texas, Brandon Elliott of Atlanta, Texas, and Kerry Elliott and wife, Lori of Queen City, Texas; 10 grandchildren, Jera Diaz, Kristopher Wynne, Kimberly Wynne, James Wynne, Staci Matthews, Caleb Elliott, Alyssa Elliott, Alanna Jones, Samantha Elliott, and Riley Elliott; and 4 great-grandchildren, Hugh Jones, Jade, Isabella and Addison Wynne; two sisters,
Geri Pat Wilkinson of Scottsdale, Arizona, and LaMoyne Snyder of Ft. Worth, Texas.
Visitation will be at 7 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

One of the sweetest ladies I ever knew.

There is a saying that cousins are our first best friends. This is certainly true for me. Sharon is my cousin and certainly was one of my first best friends. I will miss sharing our childhood memories and the laughter that goes with them. Rest in peace sweet Sharon. Love you always.
