Kathryn "Katie" Renee Radebaugh
Kamay - Kathryn "Katie" Renee Radebaugh of Kamay, Texas, went to heaven peacefully on January 26, 2018 at the age of 61.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, in Lunn's Chapel with Rev. David Jones officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Fort Sill National Cemetery near Lawton. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Lunn's.
Katie is survived by her husband, Jarrett B. Radebaugh; her daughters Wendy Bailey, Stephanie Steele and Janie Belmont; their husbands, Rick, Darrell and Javier; and her grandchildren, Tyler, Elizabeth, Brooklyn, Alex, Mikayla, Abby and Natalee. She is also survived by brothers, Martin and Robert Morin. Katie has many cousins, nieces and nephews. She also is scheduled to be a Great-Grandmother in eight months.
Katie is preceded by her parents Herbert and Evelyn Morin; brothers, Jerry Don and Andrew Morin; and grandson, Brentson Belmont.
Katie was born into an Air Force family at Biggs AAF, January 24, 1957, at El Paso, Texas. After traveling around the world gathering valuable information, her final landing was Sheppard AFB, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She graduated Wichita Falls Old High 1975. Katie married her soul mate Jarrett Radebaugh in 1976. She graduated with an Associates Degree in Nursing from Cameron University in 1984, Bachelors from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1994, then finished a Masters from Midwestern State University in 2010. She worked with mothers and babies at Southwestern Medical Center in Lawton, Oklahoma, then started at Wichita General and Bethania Hospitals in Wichita Falls. Katie ended her nursing career at United Regional Health Care in Wichita Falls, Texas, as a Director of Mother and Baby.
Katie had an infectious personality, a glowing smile and brought humor and levity for all. She always felt it an honor to serve in the health care profession, doing the best job she could do. She loved and was devoted to helping moms and babies. She loved cooking, shopping and being with her family and friends. Katie was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is loved and will be missed by all.
