So sad for the world that it lost such a wonderful person. I'm glad I crossed paths with her and experienced her presence in those last 2 years.
To Amy's mom: It's beautiful how you've kept vigil here. Don't worry, she hasn't been forgotten. There are others whose lives she touched who have nothing but good memories and positive things to say about her. Live well for Amy and stay strong.

Dear Family of SSG Tirador,
I am so sorry for your loss. Amy is without a doubt, a true hero. She will always be remembered, and I hope that my military career will be as successful as hers. I will always keep in mind everything she has done, and look to her as a positive role model and hero. Although I didn't know her personally, she was and is my sister in arms and my battle buddy.

Dear family of Staff Sgt. Amy C. Tirador, I am so sorry for the loss of your hero. He was a hero in many ways to many people. He was helping to maintain our freedoms and helping to bring freedoms to those that have never known freedom before. I send many packages to contacts listed at AnySoldier.com. Your Amy, being a volunteer contact for Any Soldier.com, was an angel to many in the field. He cared enough for his unit to help pass out mail to those who maybe did not receive any or as much mail as others. Helping them to know that they were supported, cared for and prayed for by us at home in the USA. What a true hero. Freedom isn’t free.
Thank you Staff Sgt. Amy C. Tirador. We miss you greatly!
May God’s Holy Spirit grant your family comfort as they progress through grieving for the loss of their very special hero.

My baby girl, I miss so much and you know I know what lies ahead to be done. As your strength took you in and out of battle unharmed, so I will do the same for you in your absence. Thru the tears and hurt I will march on for your honor & dignity & truth, Amy. Thanks for being such a wonderful daughter & prayer partner, one who I'll not ever be able to replace. You will continue on in our hearts forever. love you, Mom xxxooo & all the stars. Stay close honey.

Prayer for Peace
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen

My heartfelt sympathy to the Tirador family and friends in their loss of Amy . I did not have the honor or privilege of knowing Amy ,but my heart is saddened by the passing of such a fine young person and hero. May God bring peace to your heart as you reflect on all the wonderful memories you hold so close. Please know that you are in my prayers. My heart was touched by the many wonderful/beautiful things written about Amy . Amy you are my hero and you will NEVER be forgotten.
I send each of you a hug from the most inner part of my heart.
Love and Peace
Tom

Ame, Can't seem to get past this... church every Sunday, prayers, talk, journal writing... can't get past it. Maybe I'm not supposed to move past it? But how do I move forward?
I took such great joy and pride knowing you were in this world, making it a better place.
I Love you, and I miss you. L.

Hey Ame-
Dreamed of you last night. I couldn't quite figure it out. How I miss you, and long to hear your voice on the phone. I can almost hear it in my head, "Hi, it's Amy! Lemme guess, my dad's working?" I dunno...
