Cornwell, Carmella "Millie" RAVENA Carmella "Millie" Varcasia Cornwell passed away peacefully October 17, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Guy and Mary Louise Varcasia. Millie was born and lived in Ravena most of her life. She had worked at the former Levy's Blouse and Dress Factory. Survivors include her daughter, Alice Marie (Lawrence "Rick") Southwick; brother, Patrick Varcasia; and several nieces and nephews. Millie was predeceased by her husband, Howard H. Cornwell; brothers, Joseph and Frank Varcasia; and sisters, Mary Scalzo and Frances Giacomini. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Selkirk. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service starting at 12 p.m. Contributions in memory of Millie may be made to the American Cancer Society.
