Margiasso, Denise A. RAVENA Denise A. Fortulakis Margiasso passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on October 17, 2017. Denise leaves behind her husband of 43 years, Richard; her son, Richard and his wife, Candy; and the light of her life, her grandson, Ryder. Denise worked at a job she truly enjoyed, the N.Y.S. Department of Motor Vehicles for 28 years. She also enjoyed playing the horses and occasional trips to the Casinos. Denise is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Gary Wright of East Berne; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Mary Fortulakis of Hannacroix; friend, Margie McDougal of Schenectady; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James and Lucille Margiasso, Joseph and Carole Margiasso, Louis Margiasso, Mary Lou Stahr, John Carlie and Richard Green. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Denise was predeceased by her parents, George and Mollie Fortulakis; brothers, Chet and Mike Fortulakis; mother and father-in-law, Gladys and James Margiasso; and sister-in-law, Carol Green. You were loved, you are loved and you will always be loved. Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena on Tuesday, October 24, from 9 to 11 a.m. There will be a prayer service at 10 a.m.
