Many, Frances "Kathy" SLINGERLANDS Frances "Kathy" Narzymski Friend Shook Many passed away peacefully at home on September 4, 2017, after surviving lung cancer twice only to bravely battle the many diseases of the respiratory and cardiac systems. Kathy is survived by her daughters, Deanna L. Friend and Deborah L. Friend; grandchildren, Amanda Scott Conrad, Kristina Sickler Crowell, Joshua Pelton and Angelina Pelton Bush; beloved nephew, Daniel Narzymski; sisters, Judith Bell, Linda Goergen and Sherry Shutter; many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as her brothers and sisters of her Jehovah Witness Congregation in the Kingdom Hall. Kathy was predeceased by siblings, Joseph Narzymski and Nancy Alber. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, at the Kingdom Hall, 385 Elm Ave., Selkirk. In lieu of flowers, a contribution in memory of Kathy may be made to JW.org, to help support the victims of the hurricanes.
