Kathy and Family,

I had the great pleasure of being a roommate of Leo's at Manhattan College. He taught me many valuable lessons that I have repeatedly used in my life and I can't thank him enough. When I pledged for our fraternity he was my sponsor and I was fortunate to get the nickname "Little Leo", I treasure the name. He treated me like he treated others a friend, a coach and a guardian. One great man.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

Kathy and Family, It was such sad news to hear of Leo's passing. I worked for him at Moriah Shock and enjoyed that time so much. He was truly a kind, good man. A smart man with the best wit going! Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Debbie Henry

Worked for Leo when he was the Superintendent at Moriah. I was the training Lieutenant. He was a great person to work for and a person I would call a friend. Condolences to his family. May he rest in piece. John
