Bill was a good guy ! I always enjoyed our chats, and his unique sense of humor. He hadn't been at St. Michael's in quite some time, but I thought it was due mostly to the bad winter weather. Bill will be missed. My sincere condolences go out to his wife, Dorothy and to all his loved ones. Larry Porreca, Columbia Co., NY

Mr Haupt will be sorely missed by many. Anyone lucky enough to spend time with him or hear any of his stories should count themselves lucky as I do. He's watching over your family now. Keep your head up Cathy, he wouldn't want you guys to be sad. Celebrate his life, he's still with us through the memories we have and the colorful stories we'll remember forever. Till we meet again Bill!

I offer my best wishes to Bill's family at this time. While you may not know me by name, I worked in the offices of a number of trucking companies in the 1960s; though I cannot recall which one it was, I do remember that Bill worked as a driver at one of them. I recall that he was a very professional driver, detail oriented and quite dependable. As such, he made that impression on me that I remember fifty years later. You are all in my thoughts.
