Lawrence Duane Williams, age 70, of Middleburg, FL, passed away on January 9, 2021, after a sudden illness with his family by his side.
He was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Frank M Williams and Ethel Lane Williams on December 19, 1950.
He was preceded in death by his father Frank M Williams and daughter Effie Williams Ratley.
He is survived by his wife Joy Jowers Williams, his mother Ethel Williams, son Shawn Williams, sister Laura (Ron) Roberts, brother Scott (Angela) Williams, three grandchildren Aiden Ratley, Noah Williams and James Williams, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.
Well done, thou good and faithful servant...enter thou into the joy of thy lord." (Matt 4:7-8)
Services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Westside Baptist Church 7775 Herlong Rd, Jacksonville FL. Visitation will begin @ 10:00 with memorial services to follow at 11:00. Graveside service for family will be held on Monday.
