Dear Honsinger family,
Deepest sympathy for your loss of LeRoy. May peace be with your large family. As it turns out,I served with LeRoy in VA-174 when John McCain was there.

We have a large group of ex Naval Aviators in the Orange Park area who also went through VA-174. We are interested in his story and would like to offer your family an aviation multi airplane flyby as a memorial to this fine Naval Veteran.

You may or may not desire such an event, but we followed News Jax 4's story and we seek to help properly memorialize his legacy.

If you might be interested, please contact Capt Joseph Kannapell, USNR (ret)

God Bless LeRoy and each of you.

Thank you, Veteran, for your distinguished service to our country. Our sincere condolences to the family and friends, you should be very proud of him, and thank you for all of your sacrifices in your childhood while he was deployed, and for moving several times so he could do his job. God bless and comfort you, and I am sorry he contracted the virus. Be strong and vigilant.
