Oscar was truly one of the kindest, most selfless people I’ve ever known. I am honored to have called him friend.
He was a skilled carpenter, and a military veteran who lived in the service of others. I remember when he built a wheelchair ramp for a friend of his in need, and he even patched a big hole in our roof after a hurricane, keeping my husband, who is legally blind, safe.
He was a dedicated family man, and spoke often about his children and grandchildren. At work, he had a kind word for everyone he met, and was always generous with his plethora of knowledge.
He loved his friends, and was quick with a great big laugh and an even bigger smile.
We won’t soon forget you, Mr. O. ❤
