When I heard the news of Randy's passing I was deeply saddened.
Even though it's been over thirty years (hard to believe) since we've seen or talked to each other, thinking about Randy and Nancy brings back so many great memories for me.
From grammar school, Junior High and High School. From the Fairgrounds to the Bright Star. From Metairie Country Club playing golf, gin rummy or rolling poker dice.
Randy always brought laughter and joy wherever he went.
Nancy truly was the love of his life. And for good reasons.
The wonderful times we all had together in Waveland either on the beach, playing cards with Randy, Nancy, Buddy, Carol, Eddie, Mr. and Mrs. Bond and many others. Or just drinking beer and watching Mr. Bond barbecue chicken.
There are so many more wonderful memories of Randy but it would take a book to list them all.
I was lucky to have known him.
My deepest sympathies go out to you, Nancy, and to your whole family.
God Bless you all.
