Freddie W. Kugler
Freddie W. Kugler, 77, of Toledo, OH, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at home with his loving daughters by his side. He was born on August 10, 1940, to the late Fred J. and Ruby G. (Quinn) Kugler.
Freddie worked at L.O.F. Rossford as an auto glass manufacturer cutting glass. He was a former fireman for the Morin Point Fire Department. Freddie was a member of the Outings Unlimited Club, Ottawa River Yacht Club, Masonic Lodge, and the Erie Sportsman Club. He enjoyed fishing and fish cleaning, garage sales, deer hunting, riding his scooter, and wintering in Naples, Florida.
He is survived by his daughters, Toni Baker and Penny Whipple; grandchildren, Tiffany (Derek), Misty, Amanda (Mike), Todd (Brittany) and Mariah (Jake); and six great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Janet; infant daughter, Tammy; sister, Wilma Harris; and son-in-law, Bill Baker.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611, with funeral services following at 5 p.m. Reverend Jon Komperda will be officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to ProMedica Hospice.

Myself and Janice called him "Poppie".
He had a kind sole, loved to make him laugh.
He put up with us and always welcomed us back. He will be missed deeply and loved the same.
