Sharon Sullivan Obituary

Sharon Jean Sullivan WASHINGTON, DC Sharon Jean Sullivan died suddenly on Jan. 4, 2020, from complications of breast cancer. She was 69 years old. Although Sharon was not born in Washington, DC, where she lived for over 40 years, she treated it like a native Washingtonian and proudly raised her children in the nation's capital. She devoted her life to her three children as an active participant in their lives and a humble role model, mentor, confidante, and pillar of the family. Sharon Jean Sullivan, nee Worek, was born on Nov. 24, 1950, in Trenton, N.J. She received a B.S. in education from Trenton State College in 1972 . She was an only child of the late Stanley (Stash) and Mary Worek, nee Evanko. She is survived by her children, Sean of Washington, DC, Ryan of Austin, TX, and Kathleen of Boston, MA; and by her loving husband of 39 years, Michael Sullivan of Washington, DC. More information about Sharon, including photos, place to leave messages to the family and information about tribute gifts in her name, may be found at dignitymemorial.com/obituaries.
