Billy G. Rymer, 32, of Tarentum, and formerly, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, at his home. Billy was born in Johnstown to Bradley Rymer and Carol A. (Weimer) Rymer; and stepfather David Long, of Kiski Township. Billy was a self-employed contractor. He was of the protestant faith and a graduate of Shaler High School, Class of 2008. Billy enjoyed hunting, fishing and was always helping family and friends. Besides his mother and stepfather, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Lois Weimer, of Nanty Glo; his siblings, Teresa R. (Shawn) Lee, of Redbank Township, Monica Long, of Sharpsburg, William Long, of Clearfield, Angie Long, Amanda Long and David Long, all of Pittsburgh, Christopher Vasquez, of Erie, Tiffany (Zack) Kosicek, of Kittanning and Joseph Kaszynski, of West Virginia. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, with a service to follow at DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum, PA 15084, 724-224-1526, with Rev. Russell K. I had the pleasure of working with Billy for about 2 years. He was a bright soul and carried with him a great work ethic. Billy and I shared many great memories with eachother and he always had people smiling or laughing. I hope your resting easy and you will always be a cherished friend of mine.
