Margaret George Obituary

Margaret C. "Peggy" George, 69, of Parks Township, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 20, 1948, in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late William R. and Dorothy (Walbert) Ewing. She formerly worked at Five Rubber and Nature's Blend. She enjoyed watching auto races, painting, dog sitting and spending time with her grandchildren. Peggy is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Robert) Cieslinski, of Leechburg; her son, Charles A. George; her grandchildren, Emily and Jacob; and her siblings, Marlene Isenberg, of Creekside, Gene (Connie) Ewing, of Erie, Patricia Walker, of Erie, Gloria (Greg) Boal, of Ridgway, and Debra Dunmire, of Ford Cliff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Tanner.
Friends will be welcomed from 2 to 4 and from 7 until the time of a memorial service at 8 p.m. Thursday in the WELCH FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. Pastor Robert Pascoe will officiate.
