This is a delinquent, but no less sincere comments on the death of Pat. Pat was larger than life , a man's man and a man of his word..He was a charming good looking , cigar chomping triathlon runner who shared the odd martini with me. He was a partner of mine in the ill-fated acquisition of the Montreal Alouettes football club. But I made up with that debacle by getting Edgar Kaiser to sell to Pat control of the Broncos..I have fond memories of the times my late wife, Eleni, and I spent in Hawaii, California, Vancouver and Edmonton..I should have liked to have spent more time with Pat and Annabelle, but we were miles apart and family issues always seen to come in between, but I feel no less guilty for not coming to Denver more often......
