Earl "Mickey" McCall

Steilacoom, Washington - Earl "Mickey" McCall passed away peacefully at his home in Steilacoom, WA on January 8, 2021. He was a resident of Steilacoom for over fifty years. Born on November 22, 1929 in Huntington, CA. He grew up in Idaho and worked in the logging industry with his family. He then joined the United States Army in 1948 where he met his wife Kazuko "Kay" Hosio in Kobe, Japan. They married in 1951 and had two children. He retired after serving for over twenty years. He was a proud Veteran of the Korean conflict. Mickey's favorite past time was fishing. He introduced countless adults and children to fishing. Making many friends along the way. Preceded in death by his wife Kay (2011) whom he was married to for over sixty years, son Raymond (1992) and daughter Joyce (2014). At his request no services will be held.
