Jaime Sealock Obituary

Jaime Jeanne Sealock
October 18, 1975 - August 19, 2021
Tyler, Texas - Jaime Sealock was born on October 18, 1975 in Shawnee, KS and passed away on August 19, 2021 in Tyler, TX succumbing to Covid. Jaime was almost 2 years old when the family moved to Richland, WA. The family settled on "Bird Hill" where Jacen and Jaime established life long friendships. Jaime attended Tapteal Elementary, Hanford Jr. High, and Hanford High School. She was active in sports and excelled at always enjoying life. She finished her senior year of high school in Malvern, IA. That year Iowa girls' basketball changed to the 5 on 5 format and she was a real asset in helping the team make the transition. She established many life long friendships there.
Jaime attended Northern State University in South Dakota for a time, but returned to the Tri-Cities. It took some time for Jaime to decide on a career in health care, but it was a career that she embraced. Her personality was suited for caring, giving and loving. Jaime completed her RN at Walla Walla Community College, her BSN at Washington State University, and her Masters Degree with honors at Saint Louis University. As a Nurse Practioner Jaime had many career options. She chose paths in healthcare, where she served diligently, wholeheartedly, and with great compassion.
Jaime relocated to Texas in 2009. She was quite pleased when her parents decided to establish their permanent retirement home in Texas. Helping to find just the right home and property was a task she loved helping with. Texas was a great fit for Jaime. She loved it there, loved her life, loved her work, loved Clint,
her horses and her dogs. Jaime loved barrel racing, win or lose, it was about the thrill of the sport, the comraderie she established with her horse friends, and the relationship she had with her horses. "Ali" was Jaime's very special barrel horse and they shared an amazing relationship. Jaime was quite proud when she and Ali won a trophy saddle for being high point at the Keller Saddle Club.
Jaime is survived by her fiancé, Clint Graf of Georgetown, TX; her parents, John and Carol Sealock of Chandler, TX; niece, Kristin Sealock and great niece Aralynne Wilder of Richland, WA; nephew, Dustin Sealock of Mulkiteo, WA; grandmother Betty Wolfe of Malvern, IA; aunt, Adena Sealock of Katy, TX; aunts and uncles, Dee and Regee Hatfield of Malvern, IA; Marcia and Rex McKay of Clarinda, IA; and many special cousins. She is also survived by a circle of amazing friends.
Jaime was preceded in death by her brother, Jacen Sealock; paternal grandparents, Leo and Ann Sealock; maternal grandfather, Wilbur Wolfe; cousin, Andrew Powles; and uncle, Gene Comer of Katy, TX.
A memorial in Jaime's name has been established on GoFundMe. The funds will go to Ali's continued care in her retirement years. Ali's health and care was always a high priority for Jaime. She would be pleased.

I am so sorry to learn about Ms. Sealock. She was a great medical professional, having advocated significantly for me during many challenges. She was an interesting, very compassionate human being and a delight to visit with. Even though she moved out of the area, I kept her business card hoping that she'd return to the area. Her loss is a loss to us all. My condolences to all.

Jaimie gave me my first riding lessons. I was in grade school and she was in junior high or high school. She let me ride her little grey Arab mare. She was so kind to me. I remember once I was riding bareback and I fell off and had a slightly bloody nose and Jaimie took off her shirt and used it to stop the bleeding. She literally gave me the shirt off her back! This was many years ago, but I still remember her kindness. I'm so sorry for your loss.
