TRACI LYNN VALDEZ Traci Lynn Valdez, 46, of Benton City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in Kennewick, WA. She was born on October 23, 1970, in Seattle, WA. She is survived by her husband, Jose (Joe) Valdez; their daughter, Jolene Valdez; parents Paul Mitchell and Pamela Rae Roberts of Covington, WA; her sister Stephanie Ann Sangston (Brad), of Spanaway, WA; her in-laws Florentino and Mercedes Valdez of San Juan, TX; 4 sister-in laws of Texas; a brother-in law of Benton City; and numerous nieces and nephews. Traci was employed by the City of Pasco for over 23 years as a Court Clerk. She enjoyed horseback riding with her husband and daughter, cooking for her friends and family, going to the beach, attending auctions, gardening, sewing and crafting for her family and helping them with their projects. She also made hosting BBQs look effortless. Traci always supported her nieces and nephews at all of their events. She was loved by her family, friends, and coworkers and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1:00pm at Evergreen Cemetery, 3710 W. Corral Creek Rd. Benton City, WA.
