Charles J. BaileyBRUNSWICK - Charles J. Bailey, 91, of Country Way, beloved husband of Agnes M. Beauregard Bailey, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Samaritan Hospital.Born and educated in Green Island, he was the son of the late James E. and Margaret Anderson Bailey. He was a proud World War II Army Veteran. Mr. Bailey retired as construction supervisor for Grand Union in Waterford. He had previously been employed at Bendix Company in Green Island.Charles was a member of the Carpenters and Joiners of America local 1576 in Mechanicville and was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church and a member of its Adoration Society while it existed.Beloved husband of Agnes M. Beauregard Bailey, devoted father of Robbyn M. Bailey of Troy and Regina (Wayne) M. Gordon of Halfmoon; Brother of Agnes Ritrovato and the late Joseph, Robert, James, Donald and Francis Bailey, William Mulligan, Margaret Katsky, Jennie Ritrovato, Ethel Sliter and Jennifer Mulligan; cherished grandfather of Christina Loucks and John Pondillo. Also survived by several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. from the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc. 565 Fourth Avenue (corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 thence to St. Augustine's Church where at 9:30 a.m. the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 P.M.Interment with military honors will be held in St. John's Cemetery, Troy.In lieu of flowers Charles would rather have memorial contributions sent to a local veterans organization of one's choice in memory of Charles J.
