KING, Barbara Patricia "Pat" was born in Tucson on March 17, 1934 to Joseph Manuel King and Celia E. King. Pat passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 3, 2018. She married Stanley R. Gladden in 1951 and had two sons, John William and Stanley Dale Gladden. Pat was also a Salutatorian and graduate of Marana High School in 1953. Pat was very proud of her lineage and heritage, gaining strength and conviction from a multigenerational Arizona ranching family. She also held high regard for her great- grandfather and grandfather who were both well-known jewelers in Tucson. Both sides of her family flourished in Southern Arizona prior to its gaining statehood. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Margarite C. Wright and grandson, Bryan Joseph Gladden. Pat is survived by her sons; grandchildren, Kyle (Kristy) Gladden, Rachel (Tyler) Mason, Trevor Joseph (Beverly) Gladden and Patrick N. Gladden and 11 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Owen, Cash and Dallis Gladden; Brody, Reilly, Grady and Kambry Mason and Damien and Lily Gladden. She is also survived by her sisters, Christine (Jimmy) Oliver, Yvonne (John) Wright and Vivian King and numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be offered st St. Augustine's Cathedral, 204 S. Stone Ave. at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 9:00 a.m., also at St. Augustine's. In lieu of sending flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in Pat's name to the American Cancer Society, St Jude's Children Hospital, or any charity of your choice.
