Jim was an active member of the Tucson High Alumni T Club for many years, and we appreciated his contributions. He not only helped financially, but contributed a lot of his time on our fundraising events and any way he could to help with our scholarship programs. I will always remember his gentle soul and kind manner.

Twenty one years ago we became neighbors and friends with the Pfersdorfs when we bought a cabin next to theirs in Pinetop. Over the years we shared many visits together enjoying Jims interesting stories & cheerful spirit.
Jim was a unique individual and special friend. It was an honor to know him.
Our deepest condolences to Sylvia and family.

Our family (Parrott's) lived right across the street from The Pfersdorf's. We all grew up together. Jimmy, Johnny and Ricky were not only neighbors...they were our brothers. Jim Sr. was a great man. All of kids in the neighborhood (The Jamesons - Bob Beal - The Laubers - The Kanes and of course Ralph Malanga played football in the street and Jim was our "coach". Indeed he could've been a football coach as he knew so much about the game. He will be deeply missed. My condolences to all members of his great family
