This is more for you Shane than anyone. I know you and Papa Camel had a wonderful relationship when you were young. As is so often the case, when we get older, other factors lessen the time we can spend with those we love but I know your times with her were special and I hope the memories will bring you smiles for many years..

Brett, that was lovely. You painted a beautiful word picture of your mother. For many years we saw her several times every week as we worked together. Often we slipped away for lunch and shared many of our deepest thoughts, hopes and dreams. Losing Vic was such a difficult time yet she carried on with grace. Losing Brad was tragic and it hurt us to see her grieve and to not be able help. She knew so many loved her and she reached out where she was needed. These last years have not been easy for any of you. She will be missed. I love the photo. It would have pleased her.
We love you both

Your mother was a beautiful woman! I haven't seen her in years but She and Vic attended the same church as I did many years ago. I also knew her when she worked for Judge Fisher. I was very fond of her and I'm sure she looked as beautiful in later years as she did when I knew her. My condolences to you and all of your family. She was a true lady!

In the 70's & 80's, I had the pleasure of working with Vic & Joan @ Victor Mergard & Associates, having closed many, many transactions for them & their associates. Vic would bum cigarettes from me, much to Joan's dismay. We all attended the original "Show of Shows" and had such great fun. Joan adored Vic & her children. Joan was such an elegant woman with a great sense of humor. It's been many, many years since I've seen Joan but this picture brings back great memories of a wonderful woman, a woman who will not be forgotten. My sympathy to Joan's family.
