I just received the sad news today. Tamara was loved so much by our family. Like so many others I first met her when I was a student at Bourgade CHS. I will always cherish the good times with her.

I just learned of Tamara passing away. She was a prayerful, modest daughter of a world-famous dancer and choreographer who suffered a tragic illness. She was dedicated to honoring his memory. I interviewed her and her daughter Kinga twice for The Wanderer newspaper, both times at a table at a Phoenix pizza restaurant, where they could talk of receiving an award from the French government for her father's achievements.

Thinking back to Bourgade HS 50 + yrs ago. That sweet smile was there unless I was talking in the library. Then, it was hands on her hips and a stern look. When I became quiet again, she smiled again. What a gracious lady to deal with all us high schoolers. Praying for her family.

Mrs. Weninger was a good friend for many, many years. I first met her while I was a student at Bourgade High School in Phoenix. She worked in the library there for many years. She was a wonderful woman whom I will miss greatly. My deepest condolences to the family.
